11th October – Commentary

Today’s challenges – http://www.bungie.net/stats/reach/globalchallenges.aspx

  • One Spartan Army – This type of challenge seems to be a recurring theme now, kill X dudes in a day in Y game type. Fairly easy, starting low (if it continues like last week it’ll get higher each day). I kill probably 18-30 dudes in a game, so in theory this is 4 games of Firefight.
  • Roast ’em, Toast ’em – Pfft, easy peasy. Remember, you have to be actively firing the jet pack when the dude dies so you register the kill. 10 mins in campaign max!
  • The T.G. Opposition – Sounds easy, almost too easy. I bet it’ll be harder on open maps, especially at the beginning of a wave. 25 kills on average in firefight, so probably 3-4 games? (BTW does anyone know what the name is in reference to?)
  • More than a Handful – Should be do-able, slightly grindy. My best round on competitive is about 23, normally I’m about 12-15, so this will be 5 or 6 games probably.

And the weekly challenge:

  • Your Daily Dose – I really, really like this challenge. I assume I can’t get it 7 times this week? I reckon it’ll be easy most days so I’m hoping the daily challenges this week will all be eminently do-able.
