All In A Week’s Work – Reach Weekly Challenge Commentary

Wow. 4 credits per kill. My prediction now is that most people will not work at this and just see what they get through challenges as normal, then Saturday and Sunday you’ll see lots of players going for Crazy King to ramp up their kills, which implies long matches with low points scored!

I also think we’re going to have a number of multiplayer Matchmaking kill target challenges this week, assisting this one. The best advice I can give is to avoid Infection and Rocket Race game types, since the kill volumes are fairly low on them. You can be safe in the knowledge most other people will do the same, but other than that there is no ‘easy’ way to achieve this. Find what works for you best, which weapon, game, map and play types you prefer then stick with it.

Alternatively, it’s a good chance to try out more of the multiplayer options in Reach to see if any work better for you. They all count towards this so give them a go.

Personally, I’m away this weekend so I probably won’t get this challenge. Don’t worry though, Lawyer Wife will update the challenges for you and I’ll remotely do a commentary from my HTC Hero when I can read her post.

If I think of any tips for this challenge during the week I’ll be sure to add them into posts.

Play lots of gryfball, if you get a team of 8 and only kill each other you can get up to 100 kills per game.

Hi Duncan, just wondering where you came to this post from? If you go to the home page you’ll see there’s a post for this week, with lots of commentary and discussion relevant to Reach as it is now!
