how do you get the pod kettle black challenge?

  2. spazzoo says:

For Pod Kettle Black, you have to play Long Night of Solace. Just start at Rally Point Alpha and chug through it until you get to the part where you have to destroy the corvette’s engines. I took out its engines but didn’t bother with the escort and basically you just fly slowly underneath the corvette until you see 3 drop pods fire from either side of it. I was usually able to take out 2 of them, just focus on one cluster and you’ll be good. And they keep on coming so there’s no need to reload the checkpoint

says unable to complete challenge currently

      • Jud says:

Jack, make sure the difficulty is on Normal. If you’re on easy, you’re not allowed to do ANY challenge.

Cheers for the help Spazzoo, I’ve been moving back into my house this morning so wasn’t able to do the commentary till now. I hate these drop pods, I’ve always left them because they’re so hard to shoot. I wonder if Bungie have data showing not many people have shot them so wanted to draw everyone’s attention to it?
