12th December – Reach Daily Challenges Commentary

Lots of credits again today, and some pretty easy challenges to earn them in…

More than a Handful – Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1250 cR

Multi team all the way for this – you’ll get lots of kills and it’s your best way to get assists.

Secondary Fire – Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking – 4000 cR

So you’ll get assists naturally in Multi Team, just by engaging in firefights. If you want to up your changes, sniper shots to the body and overcharged Plasma Pistol shots will do the requisite 40%+ damage you need.

Iron With Friends – Complete a Campaign mission co-op on Heroic or harder with the Iron Skull on – 1750 cR

I’ve written about this on two previous occasions. I still go with Winter Contingency, and taking it slowly. If you read those posts they have all my thoughts on the matter.

Above the Neckline – Kill 5 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1250 cR

This is pretty easy in any game mode, and guaranteed in Team SWAT unless you’re really poor at headshots (or have a very off day).

New weekly challenge tomorrow, hopefully it’s more exciting than this week’s!

I just discovered that you can actually do this yourself in split-screen with a guest on the second controller. If you sprint through Winter Contingency, the guest will just teleport forward as you make progress so you never have to touch the second controller. The only place you have to move player 2 is after the Falcon drops you off by the blast doors, where you’ll have to move player 2 out of fire. I moved both players to the stairs, and then moved one at a time into the blast door area.
