2nd January – Reach Daily Challenges Commentary

Pretty easy challenges today, no Campaign, I wonder if Bungie have data on lots of people either getting the weekly early or not going for it so they’re not supporting it.

More Than a Handful – Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1250 cR

Multi Team Battle is the best way to get lots and lots of kills, you tend to get more than any other mode. If you play Crazy King or Oddball you can get even more as some people who would shoot you go for the objective, and you can take them out.

Where There’s Smoke… – Kill 50 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking – 1000 cR

You’ll pick this up in any Firefight mode, but in Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse it’ll come before you’re even halfway through.

The T.G. Opposition – Kill 20 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Shotgun – 1300 cR

This is pretty easy, in fact I think on of the loadouts (Armour Lock perhaps) gives you a shotgun, in both Firefight and Score Attack. Do the game in Score Attack and you get the 50 kills challenge too.

I’m Rubber, You’re Glue – Earn 1 sticky Grenade kill in a multiplayer Matchmaking game – 1200 cR

A new challenge, and an easy one again. Any Elite Slayer where you’re given Plasma Grenades, although beware Armour Lock dudes as they’ll not give you the kill. Alternatively, Slayer Pro has a loadout that includes Plama Grenades, or there are some scattered round a lot of maps in normal Multiplayer modes.

Today’s my final day away, going home and back to the normal routine later. I can finally set Kinect up in my space, although Dance Central is giving me aches – it’s definitely a good workout!

  1. Tim says:

Another good way to get that sticky challenge is basically any game type on Countdown (except MLG).

The stickies at the bottom of the stairs are usually there. Get someone in CQC and BAM! stuck.
