Reach Weekly Challenge Commentary – w/c 10th January

Legendary Friends – Complete any Campaign mission on Legendary in co-op mode – 2500 cR

I was thinking just yesterday I need to do some more work to get the co-op Campaign finished in Legendary.

There is no requirement on staying alive for the whole mission, or how many people you do it with. So the best easiest way to do this is on Winter Contingency. It’s a fairly easy level that if you’ve been doing challenges for a while you should know like the back of your hand! Reach does scale up the difficulty in Legendary co-op, so it’s not the walk that Halo 3 apparently was.

You can jump into co-op with anyone, and I’m sure there will be lots of people doing this during the week. If you want to set a time with people feel free to use the comments to try and arrange something.

Me personally, I think I’m going to try for a level I’ve not done before in co-op Legendary. Maybe New Alexandria or Long Night of Solace. Just for kicks!

    Very useful blog Matthew!

I started of on Nightfall for the Elite challenge, but somehow the first Elite (the one you’re supposed to assassinate) does not register when you kill him (either by assassinating him or sniping hum). Was wondering if this also happens to you.

Had the same thing happen to me with the Elite on the right side of the bridge at the beginning of ONI.

As far as Weekly Challenges go, this one is weak-sauce. Weekly Challenges should not be able to be completed in less than 20 minutes.
