Commentary follows after the break…

Light Fare –  Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach – 1000 cR

If you want to do this specifically (as you’ll get it just playing for the other challenges) then jump into something on Score Attack, maybe Gruntpocalypse, 2X Score Attack or Fiesta Attack to get it done quickly and rack up the kills.

Gunslinger – Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking – 2750 cR

Grifball as ever for high kill volumes. You can get 30, 40, 50 and more kills in a good game when you have your timing and eye in with the hammer. Other good options include Infection, Squad Slayer and Multi Team, but for the others today I’d definitely go for Grifball.

Return of the Mack – Kill 50 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder – 1700 cR

There are two good ways of getting this – ONI: Sword Base, where just playing through there are 30-40 I think, and it’s definitely worth using the target designator at the beginning on the first group (run hugging the right wall, grab the TD, either turn around and blast, then reset to last checkpoint, or try to get through the Wraiths, TD them then reset checkpoint). Or play Nightfall and try to get a checkpoint near the first Elite, then snipe or assassinate him, and again reset to last checkpoint. This is quicker but you get more kills and commendations on the ONI TD trick.

The Love of the Game – Complete 17 games in multiplayer Matchmaking – 1850 cR

Check out this weekly challenge post for lots of detail on getting through games quickly. It might take a bit of time but there’s no limitation on winning or weapons etc. Fastest games are often Infection as they go really quickly I find. Equally, it’s a good chance to try out different variants you might not have played, so jump in BTB, Rumble Pit and Arena to see what they’re like. And of course you can win 3 rounds of Grifball in 30 seconds if you’re just going for the bomb and the score.

I’ll probably do the 1st and 3rd challenes, maybe the 2nd.

Hey crazybydefault, is it ok if I join in your group for the tourney if you havnt already competed? From the message you sent me I worked out that 1500 your time is 0800 tuesday for me, which would be best for me, but I hope not to make a big difference on your times 🙂 it would be great if I could join though 😀

Scruff: thankyou for the concern and the wonderful message on XBL with naughty words directed at someone 🙂 made my day.

Haha no worries; I rein in the potty-mouth when I’m on this here blog… But that’s about it 😉

  2. Scruff 815 says:

Hopefully I’ll get all these done. 17 games might be a stretch but at least it’s only “complete” rather than “win”, and I can always finish them off tomorrow morning before 11am if I have a few left 🙂

Btw, you’ll get almost twice as many credits today than for the stupidly hard Weekly if you do all of these challenges. Huzzah! 😀

scruff if you see me on id be more than happy to play with you. we can do grifball to finish some of the 17 games quickly (also a great way to get 150 kills)

    • not to mention, the 150 kills is worth more than the LD Exodus from yesterday? the hell?

      • Gengo23 says:

Yeah, the payout was far too low for me to even attempt that Exodus challenge from yesterday. I’ll probably pass on PoA – LASO as well.
